A Coventry Way Challenge : Sunday 26 April 2026

A Coventry Way Challenge is organised by the A Coventry Way Association and starts and finishes at the Heart of England Social Club in Meriden, Coventry (CV7 7LB). Entries open 1 November 2025 and close in early April 2026 or when the event limit is reached. Entry fees listed are Solo £24.00 and Relay £48.00. The event is open to individuals and relay teams of up to six members; from this year all relay team members’ details must be entered and relay changeovers should take place at a checkpoint. The challenge is open to those aged 18 or over; younger entrants must meet the stated accompaniment or membership conditions.

Route, support and rules

The route is a circular long-distance path that normally measures 40 miles; for 2026 the route is listed as 41.4 miles, with the majority off-road through agricultural land in Warwickshire and Solihull. There are two major route changes for 2026 and the relocation of Checkpoint 1; amended route details will be posted before entries open. Five checkpoints are provided on the route offering food and drinks, and a hot meal is provided at the finish for all participants and helpers. Entrants are issued a laminated number card and a tracker device; trackers must be returned at the finish or at a checkpoint if retiring. The 40-page map and route booklet will not be available this year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
