ZULU CHALLENGE LONDON
Zulu Challenge London is an annual family fitness challenge held at Gibbons Park in London, Ontario. The event offers separate courses for adults, children and dogs across varied terrain. The organizer describes the format as a survival-style challenge and does not reveal the obstacles in advance.
Distances and courses
- Adult course: 5 km, up to 30 obstacles
- Kids 3-7 years: 1 km, up to 20 obstacles
- Kids 8-10 years: 2 km, up to 22 obstacles
- Kids 11-13 years: 3 km, up to 24 obstacles
- K9 course: 5 km, 24 obstacles
Adult participants are tethered to their team. Solo adult participants may be tethered to another participant. Children can be registered in the category they prefer and may move between categories based on ability. Parents may run with their children and will be tethered to them; medals can be earned together.
For the K9 course all breeds are welcome. A mandatory harness and a hands-free leash are required. Aggressive dogs must wear a muzzle at all times.
