About the race
Zulu Challenge Edmonton 2027 is a shared obstacle adventure held on May 29, 2027 at Northeast River Valley Park in Edmonton, AB. The event is presented as an adventure experience rather than a timed race.
Three challenge categories run on the same day: Adults, Kids and K9. Adults complete a 5 km course with up to 30 obstacles while tethered to a team of two or more. The minimum age for the adult course is 14. Kids categories are separated by age with shorter course distances so families can take part together. K9 teams run with handlers and their dogs; all breeds are welcome and a harness plus a hands-free leash are required.
Distances:
- Adults: 5 km, up to 30 obstacles
- Kids 3–7: 1 km
- Kids 8–10: 2 km
- Kids 11–13: 3 km
Tickets are sold through Eventbrite and the organizer states there are no refunds. Standard prices listed for the event are CAD 65 for Adults and K9 entries and CAD 40 for Kids entries.
