Xracers Trail Run Year Of The Goat
The 6th annual Xracers Trail Run "The Year Of The Goat" takes place on the trails of Baytown Nature Center in Baytown, Texas. The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1K
Runners start and finish at a downhill asphalt stretch and continue onto natural trail sections that run along trees, creeks, wooden bridges, and water ponds. The course passes near the Houston Channel and provides views of the San Jacinto Monument across the channel. The route includes an ascent around a hill and a descent back toward the finish.
After the run, participants may remain in the park to use amenities such as bird watching, fishing, playgrounds, barbecue pits, kayaking, and bike riding. Shirts and medals are awarded at the finish line to registered participants once they complete their run.
