Wyoming Range 100-Mile Endurance Run - August 6, 2027
The Wyoming Range 100 is a 100 mile supported endurance race held at Box Y Ranch and run largely along the Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail. The course covers roughly 75 miles of the WRNRT and includes about 24,000 feet of climbing with an average elevation near 8,600 feet.
The event is organized by Everlong Endurance and will use a lottery for 2027 entries; the race is likely to be capped at 100 runners. Registration opens February 1, 2027.
The race is described as graduate-level and takes place in grizzly country. Mandatory equipment includes a Garmin GPS device for live tracking and bear spray; rental options are available from the organizer. Runners should expect long stretches between aid stations, rough trail that may require way-finding, and variable high‑mountain weather including possible snow, lightning, and white-out conditions in clouds.
All entrants must complete at least eight hours of trail work or wildlife habitat restoration at least two weeks before race day, validated with a stewardship form. As an alternative, entrants may donate $80 to Friends of the Bridger-Teton and submit a donation receipt to meet the service requirement.
The race serves as a Hardrock qualifier and emphasizes wilderness running on a fully supported course that crosses high country and remote terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
