Women's Trail Run
Women's Trail Run is organised by Dragonfly Tri at Elgin Grabouw Country Club in Grabouw, Western Cape. The event supports I Love Boobies and raises awareness and funds for breast cancer.
The event is held on trail terrain in the Elgin Grabouw area and offers multiple distance options:
- 21 km Best of Elgin Valley and Grabouw Forest trails
- 12 km To Wesselsgat and back along the dam
- 6 km Short trail route
Entry fees are R 500 for the 21 km, R 350 for the 12 km and R 200 for the 6 km. Every finisher receives a commemorative medal and an event goodie bag. Discovery Vitality members can earn Vitality Points for completing the event.
Prize money is awarded to the top three female finishers in each distance. The prize structure is: 21 km 1st R1000 2nd R700 3rd R500; 12 km 1st R700 2nd R400 3rd R300; 6 km 1st R350 2nd R200 3rd R100.
Registration takes place at the Dragonfly Tri gazebo at Elgin Grabouw Country Club. The event is open to participants aged 12 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
