Winwick Hall Trail Races
Held on Sunday 18 July 2027 at Winwick Hall, this event features fully marked and marshaled trail races over two adult distances and a children's run on the Winwick Hall Estate.
- 10k trail race on mixed terrain.
- 5k trail race on mixed terrain.
- 2k children's fun run, ages 4 to 12.
Routes use a mixture of grassland, country paths and hard-packed trails and include some hills and fast descents. Race headquarters, start and finish are located at Winwick Hall, with parking available for participants and spectators. Registration is available on event day for collection of race numbers and timing chips.
Entries are open now and are priced at £23 for the 10k, £18 for the 5k, and £10 for the 2k. Minimum ages on race day are 16 for the 10k, 12 for the 5k, and 4 for the 2k; adults may accompany a child in the 2k. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. Dogs are not permitted on the course.
On-course support includes professional first aid at the start and finish with access to the course, volunteers, and a water station on the 10k route. Runners must bring their own cup or water bottle as races are cupless. All finishers receive a commemorative race medal and free digital race photos will be available after the event.
The event is run in aid of the Bruce Green Foundation; a proportion of entry fees goes directly to the charity, which supports young people under 21 in Northamptonshire with long-term interventions and partner support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
