Wimbledon Common Trail 5k & 10k Christmas Run
The event offers two measured trail distances through Wimbledon Common, with signposted miles and on-course helpers to guide runners. The route follows undulating gravel and tarmac paths and organisers recommend trail shoes, especially in wet weather. A GPX file for the route is provided.
Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies, a bag drop in a secure marquee, and a Christmas hat. Water is supplied on the 5k point of the 10k loop and at the finish. Toilets will be available in the event village.
Practical information lists the event village at Rushmere Pond, The Causeway, London SW19 4UG. There is no on-site parking; public transport or walking is advised. The nearest mainline station is Wimbledon with a bus connection and a short walk to the venue. Dogs are not permitted to run but may be present in the event village if kept on a lead. The terrain means the event is not considered suitable for buggy runners or wheelchair athletes.
