Wild Woman Trail Race Weekend
Wild Woman Trail Runs is an all-women trail running weekend held at the base of Mt. Adams in Trout Lake, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge. The event is presented as a multi-day retreat that combines trail races with community activities and on-site camping.
Races take place over several distances and formats. Camping is included and encouraged for runners of all distances, and family members may attend. The weekend program includes speaker panels, workshops, post-run food, recovery services and cold-soak tubs. The marathon course runs through a Pacific Northwest forest with gentle hills, multiple mountain stream crossings, and staffed aid stations.
The event began in 2012 as an all-women marathon or 50k option. Recent editions occurred in June 2026, and 2027 dates are listed for June 18-20, 2027. The organizers describe the weekend as a small-scale, grassroots experience with a focus on mutual support and community alongside formal race results.
