Wild Wild West Marathon & Ultra : Lone Pine, CA, May 1, 2027
The Wild Wild West Marathon & Ultra is a trail running event hosted by the Lone Pine Chamber of Commerce in Lone Pine, California. The event has been held for 46 years and takes place in the Alabama Hills and the foothills of Mt. Whitney. Ten water stops or aid stations are positioned along the course.

- 50 mile ultramarathon
- 50K ultramarathon
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- 10 mile race
Local volunteers and Chamber staff provide support along the route. The Lone Pine Chamber operates the event under permit on the Inyo National Forest and includes a Forest Service nondiscrimination notice.
Registration details and event materials are provided in a race manual and on the event website. Registration for this edition closes on Mon, Apr 26 at 11:59 PM PT. Refunds are not given under any circumstances; competitors who withdraw up to 30 days before the event may receive a 50% credit toward next year’s registration. If the event is canceled for reasons such as pandemic, extreme weather, or other force majeure, no refunds or credits will be issued.
