About the race
Wild Gravel is a multi-discipline adventure event set in Stirling Range National Park, WA, Australia. The event includes gravel riding, trail running and walking on quiet country roads, gravel tracks and firebreaks, with courses designed to showcase the Stirling Range landscape.
The program includes AusCycling-sanctioned races and a range of open-distance options. For 2026 the event expands to include the Untamed series and a new Ultra distance. The Wild Gravel Ultra is a 420 km supported loop along the Wild Gravel trail that starts from Mt Trio Bush Camp and includes an event jersey for entrants. The Untamed events introduce technical off-road sections and are subject to approvals and weather conditions; cancelled Untamed entries may be moved to the nearest standard distance.
Event distances include:
- Ultra: 420 km
- Ride: 10 km, 30 km, 65 km, 100 km, 150 km
- Ride Untamed: 95 km
- Gravel Run: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 42 km
- Trail Run Untamed: 11 km, 21 km
- Walk: 5 km, 10 km
Several ride distances include AusCycling-sanctioned race options that require a current AusCycling license or day license purchase. Courses feature climbs, lookouts and mixed terrain with varying technical demands. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
