WhyWeRun Wales - 250km Ultra Challenge
WhyWeRun Wales is a five day, 250 km ultra challenge along the Welsh coast held from 13 to 19 September 2027. The event is based at Celtic Camping, Pwll Caerog Farm, St Davids, Haverfordwest, SA62 6DG, United Kingdom. The organiser is WhyWeRun.
Participants cover coastal trails, beaches and rolling Pembrokeshire countryside in a group format. The event is organised without podiums or cut offs and without formal competition between participants. The format emphasises shared progress: a small community moves together across each day and supports one another along the route.
There are three entry options. Fundraising Entry requires a pledge to raise a minimum of £500 for bigmoose charity and is listed at £750 plus a £33.25 booking fee. Non Fundraising Entry does not require fundraising and includes a donation of £500 from the entry fee to bigmoose charity; this option is listed at £1,250 plus a £55.25 booking fee. Team Fundraising Entry requires teams of four, with each team member pledging to raise a minimum of £500; this option is listed at £700 plus a £31.05 booking fee. Entry fees are non refundable and the event has published cancellation, deferral and transfer terms.
