About the race
The West Linn Turkey Trot is a multi-day event scheduled November 26 to 29, 2026, with the Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day at Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, Oregon. The course runs on the park's tree-lined trails and is described as well marked and well supported.
The main trail course is approximately 3.8 miles. A separate Kids Trot uses the bark chip trail as an out-and-back route and is 0.5 miles long; the Kids Trot is for children age 6 and younger. Runners and walkers are welcome. A virtual participation option is offered for family members who are out of town.
The event also serves as a benefit and food drive for the West Linn Food Pantry. Participants are advised to wear trail shoes and clothing that can get muddy and dirty.

Distances:
- 3.8 miles trail run on tree-lined park trails.
- 0.5 miles Kids Trot on bark chip out-and-back trail for ages 6 and under.
