Way Too Haught 105k – Highline Trail Endurance Run
This event is a 105K point to point trail race on the Highline Trail in Pine, Arizona. The course runs between Two-Sixty Trailhead and The Big Red Barn and follows rugged, technical terrain that can be exposed for long stretches.
Participants must carry a downloaded GPX file for navigation because the course may only be marked at critical junctions. Weather in early November can vary widely, with reported temperatures from the high 80s down to around 30 degrees and possible rain or snow. Limited to 50 runners and crew, the event allows pacers only at designated aid stations shown on the course map.
Aid stations and access vary by location; some stations permit crew and pacers while others permit only water drops or no crew access. Examples include Fish Hatchery (about 18.5 miles) with crew and pacer access, Geronimo (about 52.2 miles) where pacers may be dropped off and crew may access drop bags, and The Big Red Barn at the finish (about 65.9 miles). Overall race cutoff is 18 hours; individual aid station cutoffs are to be determined.
Entrants must have completed at least a 50K within the two years prior to race day. The event will proceed in all weather and does not offer refunds or credit transfers from other events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
