Walla Walla 6 Hour
Walla Walla 6 Hour is a women’s only trail running event at Bennington Lake in Walla Walla, WA, organized by Run Oregon and scheduled for April 10, 2027. The race uses the Whitetail Trail, a 5 mile outer loop around Bennington Lake that is mostly double track with some single-track sections and about 370 ft of elevation gain per loop. Participants complete as many loops as they can or wish during a six hour timed period. During the final hour a short 1 mile course will open.

Registration opens November 1, 2026. The UltraSignup system accepts registrations until the Wednesday before the event; a waitlist fills open spots in registration order and offers can be accepted or passed.
Trail Sisters is the local beneficiary and partner for the event. Participants who run or hike the full six hours receive a Trail Sisters trucker hat. The woman who completes the most loops in six hours receives a Walla Walla and Trail Sisters gift basket; ties are decided by who crosses the finish line first. Results will be posted on UltraSignup.
There are no transfers to other runners and no refunds for any reason. The event is pending USATF sanction for 2027 and is approved under a Special Use Permit with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Mill Creek Project/Bennington Lake.
