Walla Walla 6 Hour
The Walla Walla 6 Hour is a women’s only timed trail event held Saturday, April 10, 2027, at Bennington Lake in Walla Walla, Washington. The event uses the Bennington Loop within the Mill Creek Project/Bennington Lake area and is approved under a special use permit with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Participants complete as many 5 mile loops as they wish during the six hour timed window. In the final hour there is a short out and back option available for those who prefer it. The format allows runners to set individual mileage goals and tailor their effort to personal objectives.
The event is organized in support of Trail Sisters, a women’s trail running organization focused on increasing female participation, education, and empowerment. The local Walla Walla Trail Sisters chapter supports this event. A local beneficiary for the 2027 event will be announced; the organizer notes that monetary donations to the local community are an intended part of event impact.
Registration opens November 1, 2026. Event organizers are seeking sponsors for 2027. The event description emphasizes community building among participants and opportunities to pursue mileage goals while running on the Bennington Loop.
