Vienna Trail Run
The Vienna Trail Run takes place on Sunday, 18 October 2026 and uses trails in the Wienerwald with start and finish at Am Cobenzl (Am Cobenzl 96, Parkplatz / Restaurant Waldgrill, A-1190 Wien).
The event offers three marked trail races that vary in distance and elevation:
- 7.5 km - 300 hm
- 16 km - 550 hm
- 24.7 km - 1,000 hm
Public transport options serve the Cobenzl parking area, including bus line 38a from Wien Heiligenstadt and line 43a from Wien Neuwaldegg. Access by car is possible via the Höhenstraße; parking is available but strongly limited.
Start number pickup is scheduled the day before at the WEMOVE Runningstore in Wien Mitte The Mall and on the event day at the Am Cobenzl event area. The organisers operate the event as a Green Event with measures such as a reusable start gift instead of a disposable goodie bag, waste minimisation and separation, regional catering options, a ban on single use items, and partner collaboration on sustainability. The event has been conducted as ÖkoEvent Plus since 2022 and received the Austrian Umweltzeichen for Green Events in 2023.
