About the race
Vadlán Ultra Terep is a trail ultramarathon held around the Keszthelyi-hegység with routes that pass lookout points, historic ruins and local landmarks. The course visits seven new lookouts, the Rezi and Tátika castles, a stupa maintained by monks, and four of Hungary’s Vadlán-lik along the route. The race is organized on a volunteer basis with support from the Balaton-felvidéki Nemzeti Park Directorate, 12 local municipalities along the route, and Bakonyerdő Zrt.

The event is associated with the Terep Ultrafutó Magyar Bajnokság 2026. Prizes and finisher awards have been offered by multiple sponsors.
