Utrechtse Heuvelrug Ultra Trail - Winter (UHUT100)
The UHUT100 Winter takes place on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and is organised around two separate loops of approximately 50 km each. The event uses Molecaten Park Landgoed Ginkelduin in Leersum as the base and offers the choice to run the full 100 km over two days or to run a single 50 km ultra on one day.
Navigation is entirely by GPX. Along each 50 km loop there are three aid stations plus one at the finish to provide food and drink. The two 50 km loops have different elevation profiles: the Rhenen loop lists about 690 metres of ascent and the Doorn loop about 450 metres of ascent.
A tracker or live tracking is available as a service and finishers of the ultras automatically receive a UTMB Index. A unique UHUT100 winter medal can be ordered separately. The event is part of the DUS2027 series and the organiser notes a maximum physical attendee capacity of 1080.
Participants must carry mandatory equipment for safety, including a race cup, a fully charged mobile phone, a race vest with at least 1 litre of water, a basic first aid kit, an emergency blanket, a rain jacket, sufficient nutrition for 10–15 km, navigation and a power bank if using a phone, and the visible bib number.
