About the race
The Utrechtse Heuvelrug Ultra Trail (UHUT100) is a trail running event on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug with routes through forest, singletrack, rolling hills and heathland. The event uses GPX routes and offers multiple distance options.
Distances:
- 50 km (two separate 50 km loops available)
- 75 km
- 100 km (two 50 km loops combined)
Both 50 km loops each cover about 50 kilometres and together form the full 100 km route. Runners can choose one loop, combine both loops for a 75 km or 100 km route, or run a 50 km on Saturday and another 50 km on Sunday. The event provides well stocked aid stations; there are no disposable cups at aid stations so participants must bring a race cup or flask.
Logistics and services include GPX navigation, drop bag availability for the 100 km at the halfway return to basecamp and for the 75 km after 25 km, live tracking as an optional product, and a race office. All finishers of the ultras automatically receive a UTMB Index. The organiser requires mandatory safety gear to be carried throughout the race; participants without the listed items will not be allowed to start or may be withdrawn.
A separate medal is available as an add‑on and is not included in the standard entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
