United We Move Trailfest
United We Move Trailfest takes place on October 17, 2026 in the Fall River Bioreserve with meeting, parking, and post-event activities at Tech Etch (100 Riggenbach Road, Fall River, MA). The event offers walk, run, and ruck options on trails that pass near North Watuppa Pond and through fall foliage.
Distances and options:
- Walk: 2 miles
- Walk: 5K
- Run: 5K
- Run: 10 miles
- Ruck: 10 miles with a 20 lb weighted pack
Awards are given for 1st through 3rd place in the 5K run, 10 mile run, and 10 mile ruck. Team competitions include a Battle of the Badges for police, fire, and EMS based on cumulative finish times, an award for the largest team, and an award for the most spirited team. Departments must meet minimum finisher requirements to be eligible for the Battle of the Badges standings.
Logistics note that early bib and shirt pickup is scheduled before race day at Canned Heat (52 Ferry Street) and at the United Way office (141 North Main Street). Online registration closes on October 14; day-of registration is available with payment by cash, check, or Venmo only. No swag packets will be mailed and no refunds are offered. The event will run rain or shine. Dogs are allowed only if leashed for the entire event. The Rotary Club will collect used sneakers for the Got Sneakers? program.
