United Way ClimbUP

United Way ClimbUP takes place on November 14 and 15, 2026. Participants climb the CN Tower by ascending 1,776 steps. The event is a fundraising challenge organized by United Way.

Funds raised through the event support United Way work across Peel, Toronto and York Region to address local poverty. The campaign helps connect about 1.8 million people to services and programs in their neighbourhoods and close to home.

Entry fees and fundraising requirements are specified: the registration fee is $25 for adults and $10 for youth aged 13 to 17. Climbers aged 18 and over must raise a minimum of $100 to participate; the minimum for youth aged 13 to 17 is $60.
