UltraTrax North Florida
UltraTrax North Florida is a timed long-distance walking event held on March 13, 2027 in Live Oak, Florida. The route is a loop through the Suwannee River region and passes towering oaks, shaded pine forests, rugged backcountry trails, winding paths, and quiet stretches of wilderness. The course is marked and supported by well stocked aid stations.
Participants choose one of four distances and have 10 hours to complete the chosen route to qualify for the UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Weight-carrying options are available: participants may wear a 10, 20, or 35 lb weighted vest or ruck to unlock additional finisher items. If carrying weight, participants must bring their own vest or backpack; staff will weigh gear on the morning of the event and all nonperishable items count toward the total.
Bibs may be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. If registered after 2/20/27, bibs must be picked up in person; a friend or relative may pick up a bib on a participant's behalf. The venue charges $10 for onsite parking and also allows drop-offs. Finishers receive a custom t-shirt, an UltraTrax patch, and a medal; refreshments and food will be available for purchase at Base Camp, which will include live music in the evening.
A portion of all proceeds is donated to the Conservation Lands Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
