Ultra Trail Sleeping Beauty (UTSB) : 3 April 2027

Ultra Trail Sleeping Beauty (UTSB) is a trail running event held at Windhoek Guest Farm in Riversdale, Western Cape, South Africa. The race village is at the foothills of Sleeping Beauty mountain and all routes start and finish at Windhoek Guest Farm.

The 10 km and 20 km routes are described as easy under-foot and pass through plantations alongside Korentepoort dam. The longer courses enter the Langeberg mountains and include routes such as Kristalkloof and Rooiwaterspruit, with the 40 km featuring approximately 2000 m of elevation gain and the 62 km about 2750 m. Both longer routes include the summit of Sleeping Beauty and sections in more remote mountain terrain.

The event includes an intention to rejuvenate long-forgotten hiking trails in the Southern Cape’s Langeberg mountains. After finishing at Windhoek Guest Farm, participants can expect a cold beer at the race village. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
