About the race
Ultra-Trail Jack Rabbit (UTJR) is an overnight trail and cross country ski endurance event held as the fifth edition on Friday 19 February 2027. The event takes place at Parc Régional de Val-David/Val-Morin, Secteur Far Hills, and is presented by Craft Sportswear. Participants may compete solo or as part of a team of four over formats that run for fixed durations on a repeated loop.
The course is an approximately 4.55 km loop with 143 m of elevation gain per lap. Formats offered are timed efforts of varying lengths so participants complete as many laps as possible within the chosen period.
The event is organized as a night experience, with an emphasis on moving through the hours together. It also includes a community and charitable dimension: in 2026 more than $15,000 was distributed to the Fonds du Parc Régional Val-David/Val-Morin (section Val-Morin) and to the Fondation médicale des Laurentides et des Pays d’en-Haut.
Registration is online only and the deadline for registration is 13 February 2027 at midnight. Paper registration is not accepted.
