About the race
Evénements Gaspesia partners with Parks Canada to present the Ultra Trail Forillon Desjardins on the Côte-de-Gaspé. The event offers trail races that run between sea and mountains and finish in Forillon National Park on the shores of Gaspé Bay. Routes run mainly on single-track trails and lead to notable viewpoints.
The program includes ultra-endurance and stage formats, plus shorter trail distances. Races are available over a wide range of distances and elevation gains:
- 160 km : 5 350 m D+ climb
- 110 km : 3 400 m D+ climb
- 55 km : 1 900 m D+ climb
- 100 km (stage TF100)
- 75 km (stage TF75)
- 50 km (stage TF50)
- 25 km (stage TF25)
- 45 km : 1 460 m D+ climb
- 25 km : 900 m D+ climb
- 15 km : 375 m D+ climb
- 11 km Prologue : D+ 275 m
- 11 km : D+ 545 m
- 6 km : 290 m D+ climb
- 2.5 km
- 1 km
Races of 45 km and under are exempt from time barriers under the "Pace du Bonheur" concept. Mandatory gear lists, cut-off times for longer races, GPX files, and drop bag rules (available for the 100 miles and 110 km) are detailed in the athlete guide. The 100-mile race has a 36-hour time limit. Other event details include paid bus transport to start lines, shuttle parking at the Recreation Centre with a free shuttle to the main site, reusable cup requirement at aid stations, and bib-based park admission valid on race day.
