Ultra Trail Forillon
Ultra Trail Forillon Desjardins is organized by Événements Gaspesia in partnership with Parks Canada and takes place on the Côte-de-Gaspé and inside Forillon National Park in September 2027. The event offers trail race formats over several days and single-day races along coastal and mountain terrain. All UTF trail races finish in Forillon National Park on the shores of Gaspé Bay. Routes are mainly on single-track trails and lead to notable viewpoints.
The programme includes ultra distances, multi-day stage races, and shorter trail races. Races of 45 km and under are exempt from cut-off times under the Pace du Bonheur format. The 100 mile race has a 36 hour time limit. Mandatory gear requirements apply to races of 50 km and longer and gear checks occur at bib pickup. Drop bag service is available only for the 100 mile and 110 km races. Participants must bring a reusable cup because no disposable cups are provided at aid stations.
Practical arrangements include paid bus transportation to start lines, a free shuttle between the Recreation Centre parking lot and the main event site at Grande-Grave, and bib pickup that includes park admission valid only on the runner's race day. Pacers are not permitted. Support crews have access only to certain aid stations. Dogs are allowed on leash at the main site and at aid stations open to support crews.
