About the race
The Ultra-Trail du Fjord du Saguenay is a trail running event held in Bas-Saguenay, Québec on 6, 7 and 8 August 2027. The course moves through fjord landscapes, cliffs and boreal forest, and links several local villages along the way.
The route begins in Rivière-Éternité, near Baie Éternité, and passes through L'Anse-Saint-Jean, a village recognized among Quebec's most beautiful. One aid station is located at the Quai de Petit-Saguenay, placed directly on the fjord. Runners also reach the summit of Montagne Blanche, which offers wide views over the fjord, the surrounding forest and the Saguenay mountains.
The event emphasizes local involvement with volunteers and community participation. It brings together multiple distance options that traverse a mix of coastal and mountain trails, showcasing the natural and human landscape of the Bas-Saguenay region.
