Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge
The Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge is an organised trail event held from a basecamp near Maidstone in Kent on Sat 9 Oct 2027. The event offers looped route options across the Kent Downs and uses the showground as basecamp with parking and weekend camping available.

The main 50 km route runs anticlockwise around the Kent Downs, follows the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, traces the River Medway to Mote Park for a 25 km picnic stop, continues along the Len Valley Walk to Leeds Castle, and returns to the showground. Rest stops are provided roughly every 12.5 km with major stops every 25 km. Each stop includes covered facilities, seating, toilets, medical support, baggage pickup, hot drinks, water and energy drinks. A finishers meal is provided back at basecamp.
Event support includes a fully signed route with pink arrows and glow-sticks at night, GPS tracking via an event app with real time sharing, timing scans at rest stops, and roaming medical, podiatry and massage teams. Camping packages include showers, drinks stations and chill out areas. Shuttle buses and transfers operate to the nearest train station and parking is available at the basecamp.
