About the race
Ulriken Opp is an annual uphill running event in Bergen that leads to the summit of Ulriken at 605 meters above sea level. The event gathers hundreds of runners and finishes at the Ulriksmasten.
The event offers three race classes that use the same climb. Distances and elevation are 1.75 km with 420 m of ascent from the start to the finish. The classes are a competition class called Grieg Oppstemten Opp, a recreational Drevelin Montana Classic for motion and trim, and CaniCross for running with a dog. CaniCross has a limited number of places.
In 2027 all classes start from Montana in a mass start. The competition class is organised with multiple age categories for men and women. Results, participant information and summaries from previous editions are published for each edition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
