Tywardreath Trotter

The Tywardreath Trotter is an annual running event held in Tywardreath on the south coast of mid-Cornwall during a Saturday evening between 24 and 30 July. The event is part of the Tywardreath Summer Fete and takes place at The New Inn in Tywardreath.

The event comprises two runs:

6.79 miles multi-terrain race
1 mile fun run

The multi-terrain race follows mixed surfaces and the fun run covers about one mile. The event maintains results and race photos from previous years. Recent editions include a 2026 race and an edition scheduled for 24 July 2027.

All proceeds from the Trotter are donated to charities in Tywardreath. Since the first race in 2006 the event has raised over £50,000 for local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
