Turkey Trot 2026

Turkey Trot 2026 is a 5k run and walk held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Hancock, Michigan. The event is organized by UP Health System - Portage and uses the hospital lobby as the meeting and registration point.

Participants will assemble in the front lobby of UP Health System - Portage at 500 Campus Drive, Hancock, 49930. Walkers and runners follow Portage Drive, head west onto Ingot, then connect with the Hancock/Calumet trail. The course continues on the trail to Tomasi Road, where participants loop back to finish at the hospital. An alternative route will be used if the Hancock/Calumet trail is snow covered.
