Thanksgiving-Themed Event in Oklahoma City
Turkey Trails is an annual running event held at Wiley Post Park in Oklahoma City. This Thanksgiving-themed gathering features a variety of distances suitable for different participants, including a half marathon and youth-specific options. The courses are chip-timed with live results and awards available for the competitive distances.
Participants can choose from several event distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kids Dash (50m, untimed for ages 10 and under)
Registration for the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and 1 Mile events includes a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash includes a youth-sized shirt, a mini bib, and a specifically crafted medal. For those who cannot attend in person, a virtual race option allows participants to complete their run at any location while still receiving the event swag.
Additional event features include free photos for participants and treats available at the finish line. There is also an option to volunteer before the races begin, allowing individuals to assist with event preparations before participating in their chosen distance.
