Tupelo Trail Shuffle : Trace State Park, Belden MS
The Tupelo Trail Shuffle is scheduled for November 21, 2026 at Trace State Park in Belden, Mississippi. The event offers the following trail distances:
- 20K
- 10K
The courses run mostly on single track trails through hardwood timber and old growth pines, partially alongside Trace State Lake. The route includes rolling hills with roughly 400 ft of elevation gain for the 10K and about 900 ft for the 20K. The trails are described as fast and flowy with no large climbs or highly technical sections. The event takes place during the peak fall foliage period in early November.
Race logistics note a 4 hour cutoff for both distances. Aid stations are planned at approximately miles 4, 8, and 10 and will offer items such as chips, cookies, fruit, water, and electrolytes; organizers request participants reduce waste by bringing a reusable cup or bottle. Race hoodies are planned for participants, and finishers receive a medal; hoodies or medals are not guaranteed for registrations completed after November 8, 2026. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance. A portion of proceeds will support the Mississippi State Parks Fund.
On-site services include race day registration and packet pick-up at specified times and a forfeiture policy for unclaimed packets. Entry fees are $55 for the 10K and $65 for the 20K.
