About the race
The Tupelo Trail Shuffle takes place on November 21, 2026 at Trace State Park in Belden, MS. The event offers trail running on mostly single-track paths through hardwood timber and old growth pines, with portions running alongside Trace State Lake.
Distances include:
- 20K
- 10K
The routes feature rolling hills with no major climbs or highly technical sections. Approximate elevation gain is 400 ft for the 10K and 900 ft for the 20K. Peak fall foliage in early November is noted as part of the setting.
Race day registration and packet pick-up are available. Packet pick-up is Friday, November 20 at Core Cycle & Outdoor in Tupelo and on race day at Trace State Park; packets not picked up on race day will not be mailed. Race shirt or hoodie is not guaranteed for participants registering after November 8, 2026. Race hoodies will be provided for participants and there is a special recognition for five year finishers.
Aid stations are placed at about miles 4, 8, and 10 and will offer chips, cookies, fruit, water, and electrolytes; participants are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or bottle. There is a four hour cutoff for both distances. Entry fees are $55 for the 10K and $65 for the 20K. No refunds. A portion of proceeds will go to the Mississippi State Parks Fund.
