About the race
Tune-Up at LCU is a cross country meet held on the LCU cross country course in Lubbock, Texas. The meet includes divisions from Elementary through Varsity and also offers community races for individual runners. High school and junior high teams register through their schools via Milesplit. The community races listed for individual registration are the Elementary 1 Mile and the Community 5K.
Registration for those community races opens on 2026-09-28 and closes on 2026-10-03. Fees for the listed community events are $3.00 for the Elementary 1 Mile and $15.00 for the Community 5K. Bib pickup is available race morning at the timing tent by the finish line. Runners who want to compete in the high school varsity division instead of the community 5K may be moved into that division if organizers are notified in advance.
