Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge
The Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge is a one-day set of indoor running and stair-climb events held on February 6, 2027 at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma (200 South Denver Ave W, 74103). The program includes multiple event formats that use the arena concourse levels, interior staircases, and the arena bowl.
Event formats described by the organizer:
- The Fun Run starts on the main concourse, includes one lap of the main concourse, a ramp to the second level, one lap there, and a return to finish. It does not include stair climbing.
- The Stair Climb and Run includes trips around the main, top, and club levels, climbs up and down interior staircases, and one full trip around the lower arena bowl.
- The Extreme Stair Climb and Run extends the classic course with many more interior stairs, two full trips around the arena bowl, and a substantially longer distance.
- The Rucker Division follows the classic stair-climb course but requires participants to carry their own weighted backpacks; organizers do not supply the weights.

- Stair Climb and Run : 5k equivalent
- Extreme Stair Climb and Run : 15k estimated
The course will be marked with stanchions, caution tape, and cones, and marshals will be present at key locations. Packet pickup is located in the BOK Center Grand Lobby on race day. Street parking is generally free on weekends; nearby surface lots may require payment and should be checked for posted rules. Volunteer opportunities are available for the event.
