Tsitsikamma Ultra 2026
The Tsitsikamma Ultra is a point-to-point trail race held on 29 August 2026 in Thornham, Eastern Cape. The course runs from Stormsriver to the mountain hamlet of Covie through parts of Tsitsikamma National Park.
The route covers 50 km and follows a mix of ancient footpaths and forestry roads. Runners pass through dense indigenous forest, cross cascading rivers, and traverse fynbos-covered ridges with views of the Indian Ocean on one side and deep gorges on the other.
Event fees are listed at R 2,600 and include conservation and forestry permits, a running shirt, and a refreshment and burger at the finish. Entries close on 14 August 2026.
