Trailtoberfest 3 Hour/6 Hour
Trailtoberfest is a nighttime trail running festival on October 3, 2026 at Cahaba River Park in Helena, Alabama. The event is presented by Wicked Weed Brewing and produced by Zombie Trail Races in partnership with Discover Shelby.
The event features timed races in two formats: a three hour race and a six hour race. The course uses a loop measured at 3.1 miles, and runners complete as many laps as they can within their selected time window.
Alongside the timed events, the festival includes an Oktoberfest style Biergarten in the start/finish pavilion, bratwursts, cold beer, and race swag. Wicked Weed Brewing will staff the Biergarten to create an Oktoberfest atmosphere during the evening.
Trailtoberfest highlights Cahaba River Park as a recreation destination in Shelby County and brings runners to the park for a night event. The event is restricted to participants aged 21 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
