Trail Trashed
Trail Trashed is a trail running event organized by Triple Dare Running Company on Saturday March 6, 2027. For 2027 the primary course is listed as approximately 5.5 miles. The route uses the 601 and McCullough trails and includes wide groomed trail sections and single-track, with views toward Las Vegas, Henderson, nearby mountains, valleys, and ravines.
The event offers multiple distances:
- Half-marathon (13.1 mi)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 mile kids' run
Aid stations on course will provide electrolytes, Cliff bars, GU, and similar items. Organizers provide beer and Micheladas for runners; ID is required. Non-runners may donate $5 for beverage access. Packet pickup takes place at the staging area and participants are asked to arrive 45 minutes to one hour early. Parking is available at the Hidden Falls parking lot and on nearby side streets.
Awards are given 1st through 3rd, male and female, for each distance. Race shirts and medals are provided to all runners. Awards are not mailed; participants should remain after the race to claim placements. Triple Dare notes support for military and veterans and offers discounts; contact the organizer for details.
