Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains – 21 February 2027
Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains is a multi-distance trail running festival based at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa in the Snowy Mountains. The program offers a range of courses through alpine terrain, including shoreline trails around Lake Jindabyne, the Thredbo Valley, snow gum forests, mountain streams, alpine meadows and granite outcrops.
Available courses include:
- UTRA50 – 51.6 km ultra with support boxes and stocked aid stations
- TRA30 – 31.1 km with support box access at the finish
- TRA21 – 21.9 km half marathon, largely self supported
- TRA12 – 11.9 km with two on-course aid points
- TRA5 – 4.8 km resort loop
Event services and rules are described clearly: fully stocked aid stations, cupless stations so athletes must carry a cup or hydration device, compulsory equipment lists and mandatory equipment checks, random on-course checks with time penalties for missing items, and medical and first aid staff positioned at checkpoint locations. The UTRA50 and TRA30 are semi supported, with limited locations where external support crews may assist; support boxes are permitted at specified checkpoints. Bus transport from the resort to start areas is available for some courses. Entry includes a finishers medallion and live electronic timing. The event is hosted within Kosciuszko National Park country and uses Lake Crackenback Resort as race headquarters and finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
