Trail Pro-Forma - Mont Gleason, 27 September 2026
Trail Pro-Forma is a trail running event organized by the nonprofit Melius Mobilité Active at Mont Gleason. The event offers a range of races from a 1 km children's course to timed elevation challenges of 6 and 12 hours. Profits support childhood glycogen storage disease causes, the Fondation À Notre Santé, and trail maintenance at Mont Gleason.
Distances offered
- 28.5 km - 1150 m positive elevation
- 18.7 km - 640 m positive elevation
- 9.8 km - 510 m positive elevation
- 5.08 km - 310 m positive elevation
- 2.4 km - 130 m positive elevation
- 1 km - 50 m positive elevation
The 28 km and 18 km routes are open only on race day and cross private properties; participants on these routes must carry at least 500 ml of liquid for the duration of the race.
Orienteering events - solo or teams Three orienteering formats are available: advanced (6 to 9 km, 15 to 20 controls), intermediate (4 to 6 km, 12 to 15 controls), and beginner (about 1 km, 8 to 12 controls). These formats require navigation by map and route choice, sometimes off marked trails.
D+ Challenges (6 h and 12 h) The D+ challenges can be entered solo or in teams of 3 to 5. Each ascent adds 184 m of positive elevation; solo rankings use total elevation, team rankings use the average elevation of team members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
