Trail Half Marathon Wales
Trail Half Marathon Wales takes place on Saturday 14th November 2026 at Margam Country Park and Forest. The event offers two waymarked trail races on forest paths and woodland trails, with provisional route and GPS files provided.
Distances:
- 1/2 marathon - 21.1 km / 750 m
- 10k - 10.2 km / 420 m
The courses are fully marked with running arrows and flags. The half marathon includes three checkpoints; the 10k includes two checkpoints. Car parking is provided at the East gate of Margam Park and is included in the entry fee.
Required safety kit includes a waterproof top and suitable headwear; participants must carry a bottle or cup for checkpoint water because disposable cups are not supplied. A warm long sleeve base layer may be compulsory in bad weather. Advisory items listed by the organiser include energy gels or bars, electrolyte tabs, and running leggings.
Entry fees are shown as £38 for the half marathon and £34 for the 10k. Entries include a finishers medal, free race photographs to download, electronic timing, event safety and first aid cover, marked routes, land permits, and checkpoint support. Optional event clothing is available for purchase, including a technical T shirt and a hoodie. The event is organised by an experienced race team.
