About the race

Trail du Ventoux is a multi-distance trail event organised around Mont Ventoux in Provence and presented by Au Vieux Campeur. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 19, 20 & 21 March 2027. The event offers a range of marked races and open courses covering different formats and distances, from short runs to ultra distances.

The programme includes championship races run under the FFA in recent editions and open races held across the weekend. The 2026 edition gathered large participation on Saturday open races and saw the Championship of France distances contested on Sunday with nearly 2 000 competitors. Weather conditions can be significant on the mountain; the 2026 edition experienced strong mistral winds that damaged event tents and affected facilities, and volunteers played a visible role in managing the courses and aid stations.
