Tour De Noorsdoring - Jansenville
Tour De Noorsdoring is an MTB and trail run event held on 12 September 2026 at the Jansenville Skougronde in Jansenville, Eastern Cape. The event follows routes through Karoo landscapes and features local vegetation and wildlife, including the region's Noorsdoring trees, kudu and Angora goats.
The programme includes multiple mountain bike, e-bike, trail run and fun walk options:
- 85 km MTB
- 68 km MTB
- 69 km Ebike
- 35 km MTB
- 16 km MTB
- 18 km Trail Run
- 9 km Trail Run
- 5 km Fun Walk
Prizes totaling R13,000 are offered, with examples including processed kudu meat, farm-fresh chicken and organic eggs. Podium winners are asked to bring a cooler box to transport prize items safely.
The event is positioned as a weekend activity with local features such as country-style accommodation and a plaas bazaar offering regional goods.
