Tough Topanga
Tough Topanga is a community trail running event held at Topanga State Park, Trippet Ranch in Topanga, California. The event includes multiple trail distances and a junior course, with on-site amenities and awards.
Routes offered include:
- 10 km classic trail run
- 15 km Garapito course following the 10 km then adding about four miles of singletrack
- 1 km junior course that climbs the 10 km route then veers downhill into the finish chute
The event features a cash prize purse and a separate cash bonus for the Downhill Mile, plus an award for the fastest Local Legend. Participants receive a handmade medal and a race tee. Complimentary postrace breakfast is provided along with hot cocoa or coffee, and a beer garden is available for those 21 and older. Postrace sports massages are offered.
Logistics include free off-site parking with shuttles on Topanga Canyon Boulevard and limited on-site parking available through the event registration service.
