The Woods
The Woods is a trail race held in Tehidy woods on Saturday 11th September 2027. It is the event's third year. The event offers four timed races that share a common 4 mile circular loop. The trail is testing and hilly with the entanglements expected in woodland running. The course is marked with Bys Vyken arrows and sawdust.
Runners choose from four durations:
- Rowan 3 hours
- Ash 6 hours
- Beech 9 hours
- Oak 12 hours
As the day progresses the field of runners reduces in size as participants complete different durations. The Beech and Oak are classed as ultras and new ARC guidelines require entrants for those races to be aged 20 and over. All entries close two weeks before the event. Entry fees are listed as £30, £40, £50 and £60 and the event status is open.
There is plenty of parking at the venue. Vendor stalls and refreshment stalls will be on site. Further information is provided in the event guide and kit list. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
