The South Coast Series X SHIFT. Hydration – Winter Trail 10

The event is a one-off winter trail run on Sunday 20th December, starting from the new South Coast Series unit at Golding Barn Industrial Estate, Henfield Road, Small Dole, Henfield BN5 9XH. It is a relaxed, social group run with no racing and no official timing.

The route covers trails across the South Downs, descends into Steyning, crosses the river and returns via wooded and open paths. The course includes a few hills and muddy sections; participants should be prepared for winter conditions. This is a 10-mile trail run, and runners must be comfortable covering that distance and have a reasonable level of running fitness.

The pop-up event is limited to 25 runners. Every participant receives a custom The South Coast Series X SHIFT. Hydration T-shirt and there are festive snacks at the finish. There are no medals, and there will be no marshals, medical teams, or race-day support on the route. The group will run together throughout.

Parking directly at the unit is limited; organisers will work with neighbouring units to provide extra space. Beeding Hill car park is about a 10-minute walk from the start, and car sharing or drop-offs may ease parking pressure. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
