The Rat Race 50k
The Rat Race 50k is scheduled for March 20, 2027 at Wells Mills Park in Waretown, New Jersey. The course is entirely off road and is laid out as one large 8 mile loop followed by three 10k loops around Wells Mills Pond.
The event uses chip timing and provides water stops, mile markers, and food on course. Medals are awarded to all finishers and awards are given to the top five finishers in each 10 year age group. T shirts are available.
There is no official cutoff time, but participants must finish before the park closes. Runners who withdraw during the event are asked to notify the organizers. All monies after expenses support the Troopers Assisting Troops charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
