The Next Loop Endurance Series - Shreveport
The Next Loop Endurance Series in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 10, 2026 offers multiple trail endurance formats on an approximately 3.1 Mile loop at Eddie D Jones Park. Events share the same loop; some formats run on an hourly start while the 12 hour format runs continuously.
Event formats include:
- Hourly Challenge: start a loop every hour; no required distance.
- 40M/50M Challenge: continuous race for 40 miles or 50 miles.
- The Next 12 Hour Challenge: continuous 12 hour event; distance varies by participant.
- Team Relay: 2 person or 4 person teams combine loops to complete 50 miles.
Results are reported by distance completed and by finish time where applicable. The Hourly Challenge and 12 hour event record total loops and distance; the 40M/50M and team relay report overall finish times for the chosen distance.
Race headquarters and packet pick up are at Eddie D Jones Park. Pre race briefings are required. A central aid station will be located at Shelter #1 with water, snacks, some warm food during the night, and Tailwind Endurance Fuel; gels are not supplied. There is ample green space for gear and vehicle staging; the park does not normally allow overnight camping. Pacers are allowed after the fourth loop, with only one pacer on course at a time.
