The Next Loop Endurance Series - Pinnacle Mountain
The Next Loop at Pinnacle Mountain State Park in Roland, AR is a loop-format trail ultra organized by EverFurther and scheduled for November 7, 2026. The event uses a clearly marked loop on the Coachwhip Trail system that returns runners to a central Start/Finish hub at the Big Maumelle Pavilion. Chip timing records every completed lap so runners and crews can track pacing and progress in real time.
Distances offered:
- 50K
- 50 Mile Challenge
- 50 Mile Night Challenge
- 100K
- 100 Mile
Each distance shares the same loop course and a centralized aid station stocked with water, sports drink, chips, cookies, candy, pickles, salted potatoes, and late-night bacon. Energy gels, chews, and specialty nutrition are not provided; runners should bring personal nutrition as needed. Athletes may stage personal gear at the pavilion or from their vehicle, and crew access is available at the hub. Pacers are permitted for all distances. For safety, runners and pacers must carry water on the trail and use headlamps or other lights from dusk until dawn. Finishers receive custom awards by distance: buckles for the 100K and 100 Mile, and finisher medals for the 50K, 50 Mile, and 50 Mile Night Challenge.
Packet pickup and a pre-race briefing are held at the Big Maumelle Pavilion in the days before the race. The venue provides parking, restrooms, covered seating, and lake access. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
