The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic (Knob Noster, MO)
The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic is the inaugural trail running event held at Knob Noster State Park on the Opossum Hollow Trail. The event offers five distances on a repeating 10K loop: 10K, 20K, 30K, 40K, and 50K.
The course is a technical single-track loop with winding forest trails and rolling hills. Runners should expect roots, rocks, creek crossings, and approximately 550 feet of elevation gain per 10K loop. Each additional distance consists of another loop on the same course, so all distances share identical terrain and support points.
Support and logistics center on the Start/Finish area. A fully stocked aid station is available at Start/Finish and is accessible every 10K. Participants may leave personal coolers and gear at the Start/Finish area; no drop bags are necessary. Crew access is permitted only at the Start/Finish area and is not allowed on the course. All finishers receive a medal and a race shirt is included with registration. Timing is provided by a professional timing service. Pacers are not allowed.
