The Kingdom of Northumbria Coastal Ultra 2027
The Kingdom of Northumbria Coastal Ultra is an A to B trail event along the Northumberland coastline, running from the area near Bamburgh Castle to Druridge Bay Country Park. The route passes coastal landmarks including Beadnell Harbour, Dunstanburgh Castle, Craster Village, and Warkworth Castle. Two start locations are used for the different distances and the listed start and finish places use named car parks and country park addresses.

Routes are published and available to view and download. The event uses shuttle buses that run from the finish to the start before the race; there are no buses after the event. Registration includes a bag drop at registration with all bags transported to the finish. Feed stations are placed at Low Newton, Boulmer, and Warkworth Beach for the 54km and at Warkworth Beach for the 27km. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North.
Mandatory kit requires a backpack with water or fluids, a charged mobile phone with emergency contacts, food or gels, a headtorch, and a lightweight jacket. All finishers receive a metal event medal, an event T-shirt, and snacks and drinks. Car parking at Druridge Bay Country Park is payable for competitors and spectators.
